Facilities.
1. Internet.
The college has one Internet operator
on the staffs who trains the faculty in the use of the Internet. Nearly 90% of the faculty is
now well-acquainted with the Internet operation.The college has BSNL, 2 Mbps leased line Internet
connectivity. Internet connection is provided in every administrative and academic department,
library and girls hostels. In addition, three broadband Internet service connections are also
available in the Principal’s office, Computer Science and Biotechnology department.
2. Earn and Learn.
Earn and learn scheme has been introduced
since the inception of the institution to provide education to economically weaker and deprived students.
The scheme is allotted to the students as and when demanded.The committee monitors the activities of
the scheme with the help of student reprentatives throughout the year. The students are assigned duties
in library,laboratories, mess, office, garden, security, etc. The students under this scheme are provided
with lodging and boarding facilities at concessional rates.
3. Mess and Canteen.
Mess committee meets once
in a month to discuss various issues raised by the student representatives. Mess committee members surprisingly
visit mess and canteen for checking the quality of food. The mess manager and canteen supervisor are duly informed
to take necessary steps for improvement.
4. Gymnasium and Playground.
A separate gymnasium hall (668.30 sq.mtr.) euipped
with gymnastic and physical conditioning equipements is available solely for the
students. This hall also utilied for Badminton,Wresting,Table Tennis,Carom,Chess
and Gymnastics erc. Not only regular activities but also sports are imp. in
physical development of student. Sports activies include
Cricket,Football,Vollyball etc.Every year ,College organizes a sport week. The
college has large play ground.It has a 400 M. running track(cinder). available
in campus for outdoor games and Cricket.
5. Medical Check-Up.
Students will have compulsory medical check up as
per the Universitydirectives. The schedule of the medical check upis notified
after the commencement of the first term.The college authorities have also made
available the services of an Honorary Medical Officer, who shall be available in
the nearby Pravara Rural Hospital, Loni.
6. Vacation Concessions.
Students whose permanant place of residence i.e. Home town is other than Loni are eligible for availing Bus or rail concession as the case may be, for this purpose,the student should fill in the requisite form before commencing journey.
