Department of Library & Information Science

Library is the center of any organization & plays an important role in the Social, Educational, Scientific & Industrial achievement for National growth at all levels. With this purpose Padmashri Vikhe Patil College of Arts, Science and Commerce established the Department of Library & Information Science in the year 1994-95 offering the degree of bachelor of Library & Information Science with an intake capacity of 30 students. The department has a well-qualified staff. Till date, 199 students have completed Bachelors Degree and training of Library and Information Science from the department.
